Eyescapes is a black and white photo series which documents city spaces within Chicago through the reflection of an eyeball. The eyeball easily reflects it’s surroundings, creating a natural double exposure of the world. As a symbol, the eye is sacred, personal, and is often associated with psychoanalysis, the study of the unconscious. This series was created for the @treatamericaproject, an Instagram takeover project which invites one artist from each state to post their work for one week.
